tvN's beloved romance series "Queen of Tears" bid farewell with a bang, as its final episode captivated viewers and shattered network records. Starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, the drama's conclusion on April 28 soared to unprecedented heights, clinching the title for the highest viewership ratings in tvN's storied history.

According to Nielsen Korea, the much-anticipated finale of "Queen of Tears" garnered an astounding average nationwide rating of 24.850 percent, eclipsing the previous record held by "Crash Landing on You" since February 2020, which stood at 21.683 percent. Fans and critics alike were swept away by the emotional rollercoaster of the series, marking it as a monumental moment in Korean television.

While "Queen of Tears" basked in its triumph, other networks also bid adieu to their respective series. JTBC's gripping mystery thriller "Hide" concluded with an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent, captivating audiences until the very end.

Over on KBS 2TV, the romantic escapades of "Beauty and Mr. Romantic" saw a surge in viewership, boasting a nationwide average of 15.2 percent for the night. Meanwhile, MBN's "Missing Crown Prince" maintained its steady course, earning an average rating of 2.4 percent for its sixth episode.
