BTS’ J-Hope to serve in South Korean Military

BIGHIT MUSIC, the management company of popular K-pop group BTS, has announced that J-Hope has begun the military enlistment process. This news comes as no surprise to fans as South Korean men are required to serve in the military for approximately 18-21 months.

J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Hoseok, is the third member of BTS to enlist in the military, following Jin and Suga. Despite the temporary departure from the group, fans have expressed their support for J-Hope, thanking him for his hard work and dedication.

In addition to the enlistment announcement, BIGHIT MUSIC also revealed that J-Hope's much-awaited solo album, "On The Street," will be released on March 3, 2023. This will be J-Hope's first solo album since his 2018 mixtape, "Hope World," which received critical acclaim and topped music charts worldwide.

"On The Street" is expected to showcase J-Hope's versatility as an artist and feature a range of musical styles. The album will also include collaborations with other artists, further adding to the anticipation of its release.

BTS fans are eagerly awaiting J-Hope's solo album and are sending their best wishes to him as he begins his military service. Despite his temporary hiatus from the group, fans are confident that J-Hope's talent and charisma will continue to shine, and they look forward to his return in the future.
