Gilas Pilipinas Dominates Lebanon for 2023 Asian Qualifiers

Gilas Pilipinas Men proved to be unstoppable as they defeated Lebanon, 107-96, in the sixth window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Justin Brownlee, in his first game with the national team, led the way with 17 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals in under 30 minutes of play.
Brownlee's back-to-back triples early in the game set the tone for Gilas as they continued to dominate from beyond the arc, hitting a record-tying 17-of-36 3-pointers as a team.
Jamie Malonzo contributed 15 points off the bench, while Mason Amos had a memorable debut with 13 points, all from downtown.
The Philippines improved to a 6-3 record in Group E and will face Jordan next on Monday, February 27, at the Philippine Arena.
