'Reign of Terror' must end in Negros Oriental – Senator Bato

Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa called for an end to the "reign of terror" in Negros Oriental during the continuation of the Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs’ inquiry on Wednesday.
The inquiry was focused on the murder of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo, but also aimed to investigate other violent incidents in the province.
During the inquiry, Dela Rosa expressed his gratitude to the people of Negros Oriental for their patience and trust in providing the panel with information regarding those involved in the killing and other violent incidents in the province.
He commended them for their courage in speaking out, even if it put their lives in danger.
The senator emphasized that the courage to hold on to one's integrity is what is needed to put an end to the "reign of terror" in Negros Oriental.
He encouraged the people to continue speaking out against violence and criminal activities, and assured them that their safety would be a top priority.
