Celebrating OPM Excellence: Winners Of The 11th Wish Music Awards

The 11th Wish Music Awards (WMAs) lit up Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, January 11, 2026, celebrating the best in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and honoring artists pushing boundaries in the Filipino music scene.
P-pop powerhouse SB19 led the night, sweeping multiple categories: Wishclusive Pop Performance of the Year for “DAM”, Wishclusive Ballad Performance of the Year for “Time”, Wish Pop Song of the Year for “DUNGKA!”, and the Wishers’ Choice Award. They also teamed up with Sarah Geronimo to win Wish Song Collaboration of the Year for “Umaaligid.”
Cup of Joe made a strong mark in rock and alternative music, winning both Wishclusive Rock/Alternative Performance of the Year and Wish Rock/Alternative Song of the Year for “Multo”, and was named Wish Group of the Year. Breakthrough artist Earl Agustin also shone, taking home Wish Contemporary R&B/Neo-Soul Song of the Year for “Tayong Dalawa.”
TJ Monterde had a standout night, winning Wish Artist of the Year, Wish Ballad Song of the Year for “Darating Din”, and Wishclusive Collaboration of the Year with James Reid for “Pahinga.” He was also honored as the first-ever KDR Icon of Breaking Boundaries, recognizing his continued impact on OPM.
Legendary group Apo Hiking Society received the KDR Icon of Musical Excellence, while the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) earned the KDR Icon of Music and Philanthropy.
The night also featured unforgettable performances. TJ Monterde opened with “Darating Din” and “Palagi”, IV of Spades returned as a four-piece for “Monster” and “Aura”, and Over October paid tribute to Apo Hiking Society with “When I Met You” and “Panalangin.” P-pop energy was high with G22’s “Lakumpake”, and breakout band fitterkarma delivered “Pag-ibig ay Kanibalismo.” Collaborative performances, including Amiel Sol and Earl Agustin’s mashup and Loonie, Frizzle Anne, and Arthur Nery’s closing set, highlighted the spirit of unity and creativity in OPM.
