Former Congressman Arnie Teves Rushed To Hospital For Severe Stomach Pain; May Undergo Major Surgery

Former Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr. was rushed to the hospital early this morning because of severe stomach pain, according to his legal counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
He confirmed that Teves had already been experiencing intense abdominal discomfort since last night. Medical attention was immediately provided, prompting his urgent hospitalization. However, as of now, the specific medical facility where the former lawmaker is being treated has not been disclosed.
Teves’s condition appears to be worsening, Topacio added. Based on the advice of his attending physicians, Teves is now being considered for major surgery due to the seriousness of his condition. Doctors have also recommended transferring him to a better-equipped hospital with more advanced medical facilities.
