In a lighthearted yet meaningful move, beloved Pokémon characters Pikachu and Cabigon (Snorlax) were appointed as “Sleep Support Ambassadors”—complete with nightcaps. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of sleep for physical and mental health. By using popular characters to communicate the message, organizers hope it reaches broader audiences, especially the younger generation.

Another key area of progress was discussed at the Public and People’s Council for the Improvement of Drug Power. There, Takamaro and other participants exchanged valuable insights on how to shape the direction of Japan’s pharmaceutical policies.
