Governor Mandanas Commends Batangas PNP For Seizing P14 Billion Worth Of Shabu

Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas commended the members of the Batangas Philippine National Police (PNP) from the town of Alitagtag for displaying heroism, bravery, and integrity in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs.
This commendation comes after they apprehended over 2 tons of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or Shabu, valued at nearly ₱14 billion, at a police checkpoint in Barangay Pinagkurusan, Alitagtag, earlier this morning, April 15, 2024.
Governor Mandanas issued a warning to those engaged in illegal activities, stating, "Don't pass through here (Batangas) because you will surely be caught."
He was joined by DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, PNP Chief General Rommel Marbil, PNP Provincial Director Col. Sam Belmonte, and officials and representatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and other government agencies in the media presentation.
