Heads Up, Motorists: EDSA Rehab Kicks Off June 13, Says MMDA Chief

Big changes are coming to EDSA starting June 13, as confirmed by MMDA Chairman Don Artes. You read that right—the long-awaited rehabilitation of EDSA is finally set to begin.
According to Chairman Artes, the MMDA will conduct a traffic simulation first to test how they’ll manage the flow and ease congestion once the roadworks are in full swing. The goal? To come up with the best possible traffic management and mitigating measures to lessen the hassle for everyone.
If this sounds familiar, it’s because DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon already gave us a heads-up a while back that the rehab works would begin sometime in June.
