The International Criminal Police Organization has issued a red notice against former Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves, Jr., accused of masterminding the assassination of Governor Roel Degamo. The issuance of the red notice means that Teves is now the subject of an international warrant of arrest.

Department of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla shed light on the gravity of the situation, stating that an Interpol red notice is equivalent to an international warrant of arrest.

He explained, "In our political jurisdiction, we can issue a warrant of arrest within our boundaries. However, when an individual flees the country, we seek assistance from various nations, and we, in turn, cooperate and assist them in apprehending those pursued by the law to ensure they are held accountable for their crimes."

Teves, now wanted internationally, is expected to face the consequences of the alleged crime that led to the murder of Governor Roel Degamo.
