In a recent escalation of tensions, Iran launched a barrage of surface-to-surface missiles and hostile aircraft towards Israeli territory, prompting swift action from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The IDF's Aerial Defense Array, bolstered by strategic allies, successfully intercepted the majority of the missile launches, including those aimed at an IDF base in southern Israel. However, a small number of hits caused minor damage to infrastructure.

Simultaneously, dozens of hostile aircraft and cruise missiles were identified approaching Israeli airspace from Iran. In response, the IDF mobilized numerous fighter jets to intercept and neutralize these aerial threats.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, issued a statement condemning what he described as the "malicious Zionist regime," vowing punishment for its actions, particularly referencing an attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.

President Joe Biden swiftly denounced Iran's attacks against Israel, reaffirming the United States' unwavering commitment to Israel's security. He commended Israel's defense capabilities and announced plans to convene with G7 leaders to coordinate a unified diplomatic response to the aggression.
