On Friday, JKN Global Group Public Company Limited (SET: JKN) confirmed to the Stock Exchange of Thailand that it has officially acknowledged allegations made by the country’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concerning possible falsification of financial statements.
The SEC has filed a complaint involving three parties: JKN Global itself, company CEO Jakkaphong “Anne” Jakrajutatip, and Director Pimauma Jakrajutatip. The allegation centers on the suspected inclusion of false or misleading financial information in JKN’s 2023 year-end statements and first quarter 2024 reports. The SEC has since referred the case to Thailand’s Department of Special Investigation (DSI) for further legal proceedings.
In response to the complaint, both Anne and Pimauma Jakrajutatip tendered their resignation letters, stepping down from their roles as directors, subcommittee members, and executive officers of the company. Their resignations took effect on June 5, 2025. The company has announced that a Board of Directors meeting will be convened to address matters arising from the situation.
As part of its internal response, JKN has initiated a special audit led by Dr. Virach & Associates Office Co., Ltd., an independent auditing firm. The audit is aimed at verifying the existence of licensed programs and creditor obligations related to license fees—key points raised in the SEC’s complaint. The company says it expects the audit to be completed soon.
While JKN has yet to make a final statement on the allegations, it noted that it is currently reviewing all relevant details and will determine its next steps based on legal protocols.
