Katy Perry is going out of this world—literally!

The pop superstar is trading her “Teenage Dream” for a lifelong dream as she heads to space with Blue Origin’s New Shepard Mission NS-31. Launching Monday, April 14, from West Texas, this marks New Shepard’s 11th human flight, and it’s making history with its first-ever all-female crew.

“I’ve dreamt of going to space for 15 years,” Katy shared excitedly on social media. “And tomorrow, that dream becomes a reality.”

Perry will be joined by five other inspiring women: aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Amanda Nguyễn, award-winning journalist Gayle King, investor Kerianne Flynn, and aviation trailblazer Lauren Sánchez.

Dubbed the “Taking Up Space Crew,” the group is scheduled to lift off during the launch window opening at 8:30 a.m. CDT (that’s 7:00 a.m. for Katy’s fans in the Central Time zone). The mission isn’t just a major milestone for Blue Origin—it’s a huge leap for women in space exploration.

From sold-out concerts to zero gravity, Katy Perry continues to prove she’s never afraid to chase bold, sky-high dreams—this time, all the way to the stars.
