MANILA, Philippines — With the 2025 elections creeping closer, a new national survey shows Senator Bong Go still holding strong at the top of the senatorial preference rankings.

According to the latest poll by Arkipelago Analytics, Bong Go is leading the pack with a solid 64% voter preference—yup, more than half of surveyed Filipinos are backing him.

Hot on his heels is broadcaster Erwin Tulfo, who continues to ride the wave of his media popularity with 55%. Meanwhile, Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa isn’t far behind, landing in third with 49%.

Former Senate President Tito Sotto is making a familiar return to the top spots, coming in fourth with 44%. Senator Pia Cayetano rounds out the top five with 43%.

Other familiar names in the top 10 are:

• Ben “Bitag” Tulfo (42%)
• Senator Lito Lapid (41%)
• Senator Bong Revilla (40.5%)
• TV host Willie Revillame (39%)
• Rep. Camille Villar (38.5%)

The next wave of contenders includes political veterans and celebrity personalities: Ping Lacson (38%), Makati Mayor Abby Binay (37%), boxing icon Manny Pacquiao (35%), Imee Marcos (33%), and Rodante Marcoleta (32.7%).

Actors like Phillip Salvador (31.5%) and singer Jimmy Bondoc (30%) also made appearances—showing that star power still matters in Philippine politics. Meanwhile, former senators Bam Aquino (30.5%), Kiko Pangilinan (29%), and Gringo Honasan (27%) are still in the game.

Other notable names include MMDA Chair Benhur Abalos (22%), Senator Francis Tolentino (21%), and former executive secretary Vic Rodriguez (20%). Even motorcycle advocate Col. Bosita (17%) made it to the list—proof that niche communities can make noise too.

The survey was conducted from April 7 to 12, 2025, with 670 registered voters representing the country’s diverse demographics. With a margin of error of ±3.79%, the results give a pretty good snapshot of where Filipinos are leaning as we count down to election season.

So, who are you rooting for?
