MRT-3 Announces Suspension Of Operations For Holy Week Maintenance

In preparation for the upcoming Holy Week, the management of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) has announced the suspension of its operations. The suspension will commence from Maundy Thursday, March 28, and will continue until Easter Sunday, March 31. This temporary halt in services is aimed at facilitating the rail line's annual maintenance activities, ensuring the safety and efficiency of its operations.

Prior to the suspension, regular operating hours will be observed on Wednesday, March 27. Passengers can catch the last train trips departing at 9:30 PM from North Avenue Station, and at 10:09 PM from Taft Avenue Station.

The MRT-3 is set to resume its normal operations on Monday, April 01. Commuters can expect the first train trips to commence at 4:30 AM from North Avenue Station, and at 5:05 AM from Taft Avenue Station.

During this period of temporary suspension, passengers are encouraged to make alternative transportation arrangements to accommodate their travel needs. The MRT-3 management assures the public that these maintenance activities are vital for the upkeep of the rail system, ensuring its reliability and safety for commuters.
