MSERV Celebrates 25 Years Of Powering Progress, Honors Partners Who Share Its Vision

Meralco Energy Inc. (MSERV), the trusted energy solutions arm of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), marked a major milestone this year as it celebrated its 25th anniversary by paying tribute to the partners who helped fuel its journey of growth and innovation.
With the theme “Ascend: Powering Beyond 25,” the celebration brought together MSERV leaders, key clients, and stakeholders at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City. The highlight of the evening was the inaugural Ascendants Circle Awards, which recognized customers who exemplify MSERV’s values of progress and innovation and whose contributions have created meaningful impact across industries.
“What began as a vision to bridge a key gap for Meralco’s customers — specifically, the need for reliable support on the load side or internal electrical systems — has grown into something much bigger,” shared MSERV President and CEO Ronaldo R. Torres. “MSERV has ascended into a company known for its expertise in electromechanical solutions, energy efficiency, smart technologies, and load-side services that deliver value across industries.”
Onstage during the awarding ceremony were MSERV Chairman and Meralco Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Ferdinand O. Geluz; MSERV President and CEO Ronaldo R. Torres; Meralco Executive Vice President and COO Ronnie L. Aperocho; and representatives from the honored partner organizations, including New NAIA Infrastructure Corp., HTLand Inc., the Quezon City local government, STT GDC Philippines, Ayala Land, and VITRO Inc.
For the past quarter-century, MSERV has grown into one of the country’s largest mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection contractors and energy service companies, delivering innovative, reliable, and customer-centered solutions that enable its partners to thrive.
Looking ahead, Meralco Executive Vice President and COO Ronnie L. Aperocho encouraged everyone to keep pushing boundaries: “The road calls for bolder innovation, deeper collaboration, and an even stronger commitment to nation-building. Let’s continue lighting the way forward—with the same trust, excellence, and shared purpose that brought us here.”
As MSERV sets its sights on the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to empower industries and communities with smarter, more sustainable solutions — proving that partnerships built on trust and a shared vision can indeed power progress for all.
