Court announced that 5,594 examinees passed, posting an overall passing rate of 48.98%.

The results were officially released on January 7, 2026, during a ceremony at the Supreme Court Courtyard in Manila, led by Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier, chairperson of the 2025 Bar Examinations.

Those who passed will take their oath and sign the Roll of Attorneys on February 6, 2026, at the Philippine Arena, marking their formal entry into the legal profession.

UP Graduate Tops the Bar

Leading this year’s passers is Jhenroniel Rhey Timola Sanchez of the University of the Philippines, who earned the highest overall rating at 92.70%. He was followed closely by graduates from University of Santo Tomas–Manila, De La Salle–Lipa, and other law schools across the country.

Top-Performing Law Schools

Several law schools stood out for their high passing rates:

Ateneo de Manila University led schools with over 100 examinees, posting a 96.52% passing rate.

Ateneo de Davao University, West Visayas State University, and several others achieved a 100% passing rate in their respective examinee categories.

Among first-time takers, Ateneo de Manila again topped the list with a 98.11% passing rate.

The Supreme Court grouped law school results by the number of examinees and first-time takers to give a clearer picture of performance nationwide.

Nationwide Bar Exams

The 2025 Bar Examinations were held on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025, across 14 local testing centers nationwide. Examinees were tested on major law subjects over three days, including Political Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law, Labor Law, and Legal Ethics.

Passing Rate Higher Than Recent Years

Compared with recent Bar Exams, the 2025 passing rate showed a notable improvement. From 36.77% in 2023 and 37.84% in 2024, the nearly 49% passing rate this year signals a stronger overall performance among examinees.

The complete list of Bar passers is available on the Supreme Court’s official website, mirror sites, and social media channels.
