Hip-hop artist Omar Baliw isn’t backing down when it comes to protecting his music. The rapper, whose real name is Omar Manzano, has filed a copyright infringement case over the unauthorized use of his song K&B. And he’s got strong legal backing—ARB Law is officially representing him in this fight.

The case, filed before the Pasig Regional Trial Court, is directed at Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Apollo Quiboloy and SMNI President Dr. Marlon Rosete. According to Baliw’s lawyer, Atty. Jeanne Anarna, the complaint stems from the unauthorized use and adaptation of K&B for Quiboloy’s campaign—without the artist’s consent. That’s a clear violation of the Intellectual Property Code, and Baliw isn’t letting it slide.
