President Marcos And First Lady Liza Welcome Singapore PM Lawrence Wong With Arrival Honors At Malacanang

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., accompanied by First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, warmly welcomed Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his wife, Mrs. Wong, at Malacañang Palace on Tuesday, marking the start of the Singaporean leader’s official visit to the Philippines.
The couple was received with full arrival honors, a traditional gesture of respect extended to visiting heads of government. The ceremony underscored the importance the Philippines places on its longstanding and growing ties with Singapore.
Following the welcome rites, Prime Minister Wong proceeded to sign the Palace Guestbook—a customary act symbolizing goodwill and diplomatic friendship between nations.
