PSEi Edges Higher Despite Net Foreign Selling

The Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) closed at 5,976.64 on December 9, 2025, gaining 27.42 points or 0.46%, showing modest optimism among local investors despite continued foreign net selling.
Market activity totaled PHP 10.5 billion, with 83 stocks advancing, 132 declining, and 48 unchanged.
Foreign investors were net sellers again, with foreign buying at PHP 5.19 billion and foreign selling reaching PHP 7.82 billion, resulting in a net foreign outflow of PHP 2.63 billion.
