As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, Radius Telecoms, a subsidiary of the Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Manila Electric Company (Meralco), is making waves both locally and globally with two significant achievements under its belt. The information and communications technology (ICT) provider has earned double international recognitions: a prestigious win at the International Finance Awards (IFA) and an upgraded MEF 3.0 certification—testaments to its growing influence in the telecommunications space.

Radius clinched the Most Strategic Partnership for Hyperscale Data Center under the Telecom category at the IFA for the second year in a row. With data centers playing a critical role in the country’s digital transformation, this recognition highlights Radius’ active role in building and supporting digital infrastructure in the Philippines.

“We’re proud to be recognized with the award,” said Radius President and CEO Exequiel Delgado. “This achievement is a testament to strong collaboration and relentless innovation between our partners and teams. United by shared vision, we remain committed to providing reliable and secure service that caters to the evolving needs of our customers.”

Held by UK-based International Finance Publications Ltd., the IFA honors global industry excellence in fields such as telecommunications, energy, healthcare, and finance. Winners are selected based on demonstrated leadership, innovation, and proven results—qualities that Radius continues to exemplify in its strategic partnerships.

On top of this, Radius has also been awarded the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) 3.0 Carrier Ethernet Certification, a globally recognized benchmark in network service performance, as of March 2025. This certification confirms that Radius’ Ethernet services—specifically its e-Tree and e-Line variants—meet rigorous international standards for performance, reliability, and flexibility.

“As of the moment, we have secured MEF 3.0 for our e-Tree and e-Line variants. We expect to secure our e-LAN variant by the end of the second quarter this year,” shared Al Solis, Chief Operating Officer of Radius.

The MEF 3.0 standard is especially important in today’s data-driven world, offering carriers and enterprises alike the assurance of fast, secure, and seamless connectivity across networks. This positions Radius at the forefront of a global Carrier Ethernet services market that’s valued at over $60 billion.

These twin recognitions not only mark Radius’ 25th year with a major statement, but also reaffirm its position as a frontrunner in the Philippine ICT landscape. Through innovation, global alignment, and strategic foresight, Radius continues to raise the bar for service quality and digital infrastructure.v
