MANILA—The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSEi) ended its trading day on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in negative territory, as a lack of new catalysts and lingering caution among investors led to a market-wide decline. The benchmark index slipped by 9.82 points, or 0.16 percent, to close at 6,108.72.

The day's trading saw a total value turnover of PHP 5.2 billion. Market breadth was negative, with 103 declining issues against 88 advances, while 63 stocks remained unchanged. This selling pressure was also reflected in the day's foreign trading activity, which showed a net foreign selling of approximately PHP 370.63 million.

All sub-indices were in the red, with Industrial and Property sectors posting the largest losses, a sign of broad-based weakness across the market.
