VCT Team Capsules Are Back-And Bigger-For 2026

VALORANT is kicking off 2026 by doubling down on what keeps the esports scene alive: the fans. Riot Games has officially unveiled the 2026 VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Team Capsules, giving players new ways to rep their favorite teams while directly supporting them throughout the season.

After a massive year where Riot shared $100 million with VCT teams in 2025—thanks largely to fan participation—the publisher is leaning into that momentum. The result is a refreshed lineup of team capsules that go beyond cosmetics and turn in-game support into a meaningful contribution to the competitive ecosystem.

Starting January 13 at 11 a.m. PST, players will be able to grab the new Team Capsules directly in-game. Each capsule comes packed with an updated Classic skin enhanced with new visual effects, a special inspect feature that tracks team event wins, an animated player card, a team spray, and a themed gun buddy. Riot says the goal this year was to push the designs further, both visually and emotionally, so every item feels more connected to the team it represents.

Teams with championship titles are getting extra love. Riot introduced an exclusive Winner’s Flair for champions, with NRG’s capsule showcasing special elements that celebrate the team’s Champions 2025 victory. It’s a subtle flex—but one that makes every round feel like a reminder of esports history.

Pricing remains familiar, with capsules set at 2,320 VP, while returning buyers who owned a team’s 2024 or 2025 capsule can purchase the same team at a discounted 1,650 VP. Riot clearly wants loyalty to pay off, both for fans and for teams.

More than just skins, the 2026 Team Capsules are Riot’s way of turning fandom into fuel. From clutch moments to heartbreaking misses, the teams carry their supporters through every match—and now, players can carry that pride straight into the game.
