1Sambayan Clarifies Rally Rumors, Urges Filipinos To Join 'Trillion Peso March' At EDSA

Pro-democracy coalition 1Sambayan has clarified that it is not involved in the rally reportedly set at Luneta from November 16 to 18, following misinformation circulating online about its alleged participation.
In a statement, the group reiterated its strong advocacy for accountability, transparency, and good governance, emphasizing that it did not organize, endorse, or plan to take part in the said event. The coalition firmly denied any claims suggesting otherwise.
1Sambayan said its efforts are focused instead on the “Trillion Peso March Movement,” a nationwide initiative it is leading in partnership with the Catholic Church, other faith-based organizations, and civil society groups. The movement seeks to mobilize Filipinos in demanding greater transparency and action against corruption in government.
The Trillion Peso March will take place on November 30 at EDSA, starting at 10:00 a.m., and aims to gather citizens who share the vision of a corruption-free and accountable Philippines.
The coalition encouraged all Filipinos who value integrity, rule of law, and good governance to stand together at EDSA and make their voices heard against corruption and misuse of public funds.
