A New Legal Battle Is On The Horizon For QC Flooding Projects

Atty. Ariel Inton, president of the Lawyers for Commuters Safety and Protection, has confirmed that his group will be filing a case against those involved in anomalous flood control projects in Quezon City.
Among those to be charged is Quezon City's 1st District Representative Arjo Atayde.
Inton stated, "This case is for those involved in the anomalous flood control projects in Quezon City. Our complainants are from different Quezon City districts. We're just arranging their documents so they can qualify as proper litigants for the case we're about to file." He added, "Arjo Atayde, we’ll be filing a case against him."
The move comes amid public frustration over the city's persistent flooding issues, which many believe are exacerbated by poorly executed infrastructure projects.
