Archie Alemania Found Guilty In Lasciviousness Case Filed By Rita Daniela

Actor Archie Alemania has been found guilty of Acts of Lasciviousness in a case filed by fellow artist Rita Daniela, according to a report from ABS-CBN News citing a decision by a Bacoor City court.
The complaint, filed under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, stemmed from allegations that Alemania made unwanted advances toward Daniela during a project.
In its ruling, the court found Alemania guilty and ordered him to pay ₱20,000 in civil indemnity and another ₱20,000 in moral damages. Details of the full sentence and jail term, however, have not yet been publicly released as of this writing.
Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, counsel for Rita Daniela, expressed satisfaction with the verdict, saying, “Of course, we are very happy with the decision. Rita fought and she attained justice.”
The conviction marks a major development in the case that began in 2024, when prosecutors in Bacoor found probable cause and issued an arrest warrant against the actor. Alemania had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charge.
As of press time, Alemania or his representatives have yet to issue a public statement regarding the conviction.
