Atty. Medialdea Rushed To Hospital After Falling Ill During Visit To Duterte At ICC

Former Executive Secretary Atty. Salvador Medialdea was taken to a hospital in The Hague earlier today, March 18, after suddenly falling ill while visiting former President Rodrigo Duterte at the ICC Detention Center.
Medialdea arrived at the facility early in the morning for a scheduled visit. However, at around 8:55 AM, while registering at the reception counter, he started feeling unwell. An embassy official who was with him quickly called for medical assistance, and a medic from the Detention Center responded immediately.
Shortly after, an ambulance was dispatched to transport him to a hospital in The Hague, where he is now receiving treatment. A close relative is also with him at the hospital.
As of now, there are no further details about his condition, but updates are expected to follow.
