Authorities have recovered the body believed to be that of TNVS driver Raymond Cabrera, who was robbed and killed by three of his passengers.

He was last seen on May 18, picking up passengers near a casino hotel in Parañaque City.

The body was found along a grassy roadside in Barangay Batitang, General Tinio, Nueva Ecija through information provided by two suspects in the crime.

The two suspects and another one had earlier surrendered to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

The body was initially identified based on the shoes the victim was last seen wearing. Confirmatory tests will still be conducted to verify the identity of the recovered body.

The three suspects are facing charges filed by the NBI-NCR.
