Ayala Alabang Officials Debunk Fake News Linking Bong Go To Luxury Property

Officials from Ayala Alabang Village have put an end to rumors claiming that Senator Christopher “Bong” Go owns a lavish property inside the exclusive subdivision.
In a letter sent to the senator’s office, Ayala Alabang Village Association manager Emmanuel Adizon clarified:
“A search of the Association’s database and records was made, and it appears that there is no property in the village registered under the name of a certain Christopher Lawrence Go.”
Backing this up, Barangay Ayala Alabang secretary Robert Reyes said their office also has no record of any property owned by Go.
“Any construction or acquisition of properties here ay dumadaan sa aming barangay, apart from the village association,” Reyes explained.
These statements directly refute circulating social media posts and claims made by former senator Antonio Trillanes IV alleging that Go owns properties in the upscale community.
Senator Go, known for his “Malasakit sa Kapwa” advocacy, once again called for unity and compassion instead of political bickering.
“Sa panahong puno ng pagsubok, sana itigil na ang bangayan. Ang unahin natin ay pagtulong sa kapwa Pilipino,” he said.
Go even joked about the rumor, saying,
“Nakakahiya sa tunay na may-ari ng bahay. Kung gusto nilang ipilit na akin ‘yan, sige—patunayan nila at kanila na ‘yan!”
Trillanes earlier pointed out that the supposed property doesn’t appear in Go’s Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN), but this issue—first raised in 2018—has long been dismissed and merely rehashed in recent years.
On social media, Go’s camp emphasized that Filipinos have already seen through the false accusations, citing his overwhelming win in the 2025 senatorial elections.
“Hindi naman ito pinaniwalaan ng milyun-milyon nating kababayan dahil ginawa pa ngang number one si Senator Bong Go sa nakaraang halalan,” read a statement on his official Facebook page.
Despite political noise, Go continues to focus on his public service efforts—especially helping the poor and those affected by disasters.
“Unahin natin ang serbisyo kaysa sa pulitika. Magmalasakit at tumulong tayo sa kapwa, at huwag sayangin ang oras sa fake news,” he urged.
