STA. CRUZ, DAVAO DEL SUR — Mindanao’s energy sector just got a major boost. On October 6, 2025, South Pacific Inc. (SPI) and Lucio Co’s Azora Holdings Inc. sealed a partnership to operate a new LPG terminal in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur — a project seen to strengthen the island’s fuel supply and ensure energy security.
For SPI, this isn’t just about building a facility. It’s about guaranteeing Mindanao households and businesses a stable, secure, and competitive supply of LPG. With the terminal in place, more LPG brands are expected to enter the market, creating fairer pricing and better options for consumers.
Adding momentum to this move is Regasco, one of the country’s leading LPG retail brands. Already a household name in Luzon and Visayas, Regasco is now making its way to Mindanao, rolling out more LPG cylinders in preparation for the Davao del Sur terminal’s full activation.
“This marks the beginning of a stronger, more connected, and more energy-secure Mindana,”said LPG advocate and Congressman Arnel Ty, lauding the partnership.
