With the senatorial race almost wrapped up, the latest numbers from the COMELEC Transparency Server as of 5:32 PM on May 15, 2025 show that 99.12% of election returns have already been transmitted—92,808 out of 93,630 clustered precincts, to be exact.
Out of the 56.9 million votes counted, Senator Bong Go continues to lead the pack with a massive 26.9 million votes, keeping a strong hold on the #1 spot.
Coming in second is Bam Aquino of KNP, who’s pulling in 20.8 million votes, closely followed by Bato Dela Rosa of PDP-Laban at 20.5 million. It’s been a tight race between the two for that second-place finish.
TV personality-turned-senator Erwin Tulfo (Lakas) maintains his spot at 4th with over 17 million votes, while veteran lawmakers Kiko Pangilinan (LP) and Rodante Marcoleta (IND) round out the Top 6 with 15.2 million and 15.1 million votes, respectively.
Here's how the rest of the Top 12 currently stack up:
7. Ping Lacson (IND) – 15,064,155
8. Tito Sotto (NPC) – 14,795,376
9. Pia Cayetano (NP) – 14,519,660
10. Camille Villar (NP) – 13,578,736
11. Lito Lapid (NPC) – 13,333,028
12. Imee Marcos (NP) – 13,258,708
The last few slots, especially from 10th to 12th place, are still a bit shaky with only thousands of votes separating candidates—so there could still be some last-minute movement.
With just under 1% of precincts left to report, it’s safe to say we’re nearly at the finish line. But until the final transmission comes in and the official proclamation is made, nothing’s set in stone.
