Filipino gymnastics star Carlos Yulo continues to dazzle on the international stage, posting strong performances at the 53rd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to official qualification results, Yulo scored 14.566 points in the men’s floor exercise, placing second in the event after the preliminary rounds.

He also led the vault qualifiers with an impressive average score of 14.750, securing the top spot heading into the finals. The results were confirmed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and reported by Gymnastics Now.

As of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, only the floor and vault apparatus results for Yulo have been officially posted, with other events still ongoing. The men’s artistic gymnastics qualification rounds will continue through the remaining subdivisions later in the day.

Yulo, an Olympic gold medalist, remains a strong contender for multiple podium finishes as he eyes another world championship medal — and possibly another gold — for the Philippines.
