Filipina billiards sensation Chezka Centeno wrapped up her 2025 Chengdu World Games campaign with a silver medal in the Women’s 10-ball event, capping off a thrilling run that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very last shot.

Facing China’s Han Yu in the finals, Centeno delivered a gutsy and high-energy performance. The match was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both players trading precision shots and momentum shifts. In the end, Han Yu edged out Centeno by the slimmest of margins—6-7—in a game that could have gone either way.

The 2023 World 10-ball Champion once again displayed her trademark composure and shot-making prowess, forcing a tight contest and landing several critical pots that had the crowd erupting.

Centeno’s silver marks the Philippines’ second podium finish at the Games, following Kaila Napoli’s own silver in the Women’s -52 kg Ne-Waza category.
