Amid mounting revelations in the Senate regarding alleged irregularities in flood control projects, Akbayan Representative Chel Diokno has publicly challenged all individuals named to come clean. In a strong statement, Diokno called on officials and personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), as well as any lawmakers implicated in the controversy, to make their Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALNs) public and to sign a waiver on bank secrecy.

Diokno's challenge is aimed at promoting full transparency and accountability. He also urged other contractors and officials who may have information about the anomalies to come forward and disclose what they know. "Corruption is clearly a recurring problem across different administrations," Diokno stated, adding that it has reached "the highest levels of power."

He stressed that those responsible for these schemes must be held accountable, along with their accomplices. "We will not allow anyone to get away with this," he emphasized, underscoring the need for justice and reform.
