DBM Hands Over Proposed P6.793 Trillion 2026 National Budget To House Of Representatives

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has formally turned over to the House of Representatives the proposed ₱6.793 trillion national budget for 2026.
Leading the ceremonial turnover of the Fiscal Year 2026 National Expenditure Program today, August 13, were House Speaker Martin Romualdez and DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, joined by other officials from both the House and the DBM.
This turnover marks the start of the House’s deliberations on the proposed budget, which will guide the government’s spending priorities for the year ahead.
