Dizon Seeks Immigration Lookout For Officials In Flood Control Probe

In a move to ensure accountability, Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon has again requested the Department of Justice (DOJ) to issue an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) for several individuals.
The request targets former DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, Candaba, Pampanga Mayor Rene M. Maglanque, and corporate officers from MBB Global Properties Corporation.
This action comes as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged anomalies within flood control projects, including those identified as "ghost projects" and "substandard construction." The ILBO is crucial to the probe, as it helps prevent delays and ensures those who may be held liable remain in the country to face the investigation. The investigation is a direct response to the President's directive to hold those responsible for these projects accountable.
