Enrile Receives Intensive Care For Pneumonia; Family Extends Thanks

Former Senate President and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile remains confined in the intensive care unit (ICU) as he continues to receive treatment for pneumonia.
His daughter, Katrina Ponce Enrile, released an official statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and concern from the public.
“My father remains in the ICU where he is being treated for pneumonia. He is under the dedicated care of his attending physicians and medical staff who are providing him with the best possible treatment and attention,” she said.
Katrina also thanked everyone who has reached out to their family, saying, “We’re grateful for the incredible medical team caring for him during this difficult time.”
She likewise asked for privacy as their family navigates this period together. “We ask for privacy as our family navigates this together. We’ll share updates when appropriate,” she added.
