The Letran Knights showed nerves of steel as they handed the Perpetual Altas their first loss of the season, escaping with a gritty 63-56 win in NCAA Season 101 men’s basketball action.
It was a back-and-forth battle for most of the game, but the Knights stayed composed when it mattered most — closing strong behind the all-around brilliance of Jimboy Estrada, who powered Letran with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
