Good news for history buffs and weekend adventurers! Intramuros, Manila's historic Walled City, is now offering free guided walking tours every Saturday and Sunday. This new initiative, led by DOT-accredited and Intramuros Administration guides, provides a fantastic opportunity to explore two of the area's most significant sites: Fort Santiago and Casa Manila.

These complimentary tours are available for walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early. There are two tour schedules to choose from: 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with 25 slots available for each batch.

If you're interested in the Fort Santiago tour, you can register at the Intramuros Visitors Center (IVC). This tour lasts approximately one hour, giving you plenty of time to learn about the fortress's rich history. For those who want to explore Casa Manila, simply head to the museum's stairway entrance to register. This tour offers a glimpse into a colonial-era lifestyle and takes about 30 minutes.
