Foreign investors also showed renewed confidence, recording net foreign buying of ₱339.78 million, with total foreign buying at ₱3.80 billion versus ₱3.46 billion in foreign selling.

Sector-wise, Financials led the day’s winners with a 2.09% surge, followed by Property up 1.94%, as investors picked up shares in select banking and real estate stocks. However, Mining & Oil and Industrial sectors slipped 1.20% and 1.24%, respectively.

Despite mixed sectoral performance, today’s uptick suggests growing optimism in the market as investors position ahead of key economic data and corporate earnings updates.
