Former House Speaker Romualdez Now Part Of DOJ Flood Control Probe

Former Speaker of the House Martin Romualdez is now included in the widening investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the alleged anomalous flood control projects.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla confirmed the development, stating that the probe needs to determine if Romualdez also has any liabilities in the issue. This comes as former congressman Zaldy Co, who served as the Appropriations Committee Chairman in the House of Representatives, was reportedly the Speaker's choice during Romualdez's term as Speaker.
