Motorists can expect smoother and more affordable holiday travel as San Miguel Corporation (SMC) announced it will once again waive toll fees across its expressway network on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

The annual toll holiday is part of SMC’s tradition of easing traffic congestion and helping motorists travel home more comfortably during the peak holiday season.

The toll-free period will apply to all SMC-operated expressways, including the Skyway System, NAIA Expressway (NAIAX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), STAR Tollway, and the Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX).

Toll collection will be suspended from 10:00 p.m. on December 24 until 6:00 a.m. on December 25, and again from 10:00 p.m. on December 31 until 6:00 a.m. on January 1, 2026.

SMC advised motorists to plan their trips ahead and follow traffic advisories to ensure a safe and smooth journey, as traffic volume is expected to increase during the holiday rush.

The toll-free initiative is expected to benefit thousands of travelers heading to provinces and spending the holidays with their families, reinforcing SMC’s commitment to public service during the festive season. 馃巹馃殫
