From The Heart: Ka Ador Pleyto Brings Hope And Help To Detainees A Day After His Victory

Just a day after securing his second term as Representative of Bulacan’s 6th District, Cong. Salvador “Ka Ador” Pleyto wasted no time in getting back to work — and not just any work, but one that hits close to his heart.
On the morning of May 15, 2025, Ka Ador paid a special visit to the detainees of the Santa Maria Police Station and Santa Maria Municipal Jail. With 394 individuals currently behind bars, the congressman came bearing not just free breakfast and snacks, but also something even more valuable — presence, compassion, and hope.
This gesture echoed the powerful message of Matthew 25:36: “I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” For Ka Ador, it wasn’t just a biblical quote — it was a mission.
Beyond food, Ka Ador also shared information about his flagship programs that detainees and their families can benefit from: the Medical and Hospital Assistance Program, College Educational Assistance Program, and the DOLE-TUPAD temporary employment program. He encouraged families to reach out to his office in Dulong Bayan, Poblacion, Santa Maria, Bulacan to learn more.
“This visit is a heartfelt gesture of gratitude for the trust our people have once again given me,” Ka Ador said. “It’s also a reminder that no one — no matter their circumstances — is forgotten.”
Ka Ador also expressed deep appreciation to the Santa Maria Police Station led by P/Lt. Col. Voltaire Rivera and the Santa Maria Municipal Jail under C/Insp. Djohani Miranda for their support and cooperation in making the activity possible.
It wasn’t a campaign trail. It wasn’t a press conference. It was something more meaningful — a quiet, powerful reminder that leadership is about service, especially to those who need it most.
