Fuel Prices To Rise On Tuesday: Diesel Up P2 Per Liter

According to advisories from Seaoil, Jetti Petroleum, and other retailers, the following increases will take effect:
Diesel: +₱2.00 per liter
Gasoline: +₱1.20 per liter
Kerosene: +₱1.70 per liter
The latest surge comes amid global supply concerns. Jetti Petroleum president Leo Bellas said the hikes are influenced by recent international sanctions on Russian oil companies, which could disrupt supply flows and force buyers to look for alternative sources.
“Oil prices are higher… due to concerns that sanctions could lead to tighter physical flows of Russian oil,” Bellas said. “This could force buyers of Russian oil to reroute volumes, causing disruptions in supply.”
Fuel firms in the Philippines usually announce adjustments on Mondays, with new rates taking effect the following day. With these changes, transportation costs are expected to rise once again, adding pressure on household and business budgets.
