The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) has officially announced the final 12-man lineup for Gilas Pilipinas, set to represent the country in the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers in Saudi Arabia. The roster features a mix of seasoned veterans and emerging stars, all aiming to bring pride to the nation in Group D competition.

Leading the charge is naturalized player Justin Brownlee, whose leadership and versatility continue to be a cornerstone for the national team. Joining him are stalwarts like June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, and Scottie Thompson — players who have long been familiar faces in international campaigns.

Also returning to the fold are Dwight Ramos, Jamie Malonzo, Chris Newsome, Calvin Oftana, and CJ Perez, who each bring athleticism and defensive prowess to the lineup. Meanwhile, Carl Tamayo and AJ Edu offer size and youth, balancing the experience with fresh energy and potential.

A notable addition is Kevin Quiambao, whose recent performances in collegiate and professional play have earned him a spot in the final cut. His inclusion is seen as a nod to the team’s future while staying focused on the immediate task at hand.

With a solid combination of talent, experience, and chemistry, Gilas Pilipinas is gearing up for a strong showing in the qualifiers. The team will aim to build on past successes while continuing to grow under the banner of unity and national pride.

Fans can look forward to an exciting campaign as the Philippines fights for a coveted spot in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025.
