Harry Roque, Others Face Human Trafficking Charges Over Illegal POGO Ops In Pampanga

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is stepping up its crackdown on illegal POGO operations — and now, big names are getting caught in the net.
Former Presidential Spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque, along with Cassandra Li Ong, Darren Wu, Dennis Cunanan, and several others, are now facing qualified human trafficking charges. These cases are tied to the illegal activities of Lucky South 99, a POGO hub based in Porac, Pampanga.
DOJ Undersecretary Nicholas Felix Ty confirmed that the charges have already been filed at the court in Angeles City, Pampanga. However, there’s a strong possibility the case will be moved to the Pasig Regional Trial Court. That’s the same court currently handling the case against Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo — another controversial figure linked to shady POGO operations.
It’s another major development in the government’s ongoing efforts to crack down on illegal POGOs, especially those accused of exploiting workers and engaging in human trafficking.
