In an era where misinformation can travel faster than the truth, two of the country’s most respected communications organizations have joined forces to help Filipinos become more informed, engaged, and discerning.

On August 13, 2025, the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines and the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) formally pledged their support to THINKaMuna Pilipinas — a media and information literacy advocacy spearheaded by Manuel V. Pangilinan-led MediaQuest Holdings, Inc.

THINKaMuna Pilipinas aims to equip the public with the skills to critically evaluate information, identify credible sources, and engage responsibly in today’s fast-paced digital space. By enlisting the support of IABC and PRSP, the initiative gains the backing of two powerhouse networks in the field of communications.

Present at the signing were PRSP Treasurer and IABC Board Member Abigail Ho-Torres, PRSP Vice President for Internal Affairs Norman Agatep, PRSP President Louie Sebastian, TV5 President and CEO Guido Zaballero representing MediaQuest Holdings, IABC Philippines President Belle Tiongco, IABC Philippines Chairman and PRSP Board Member Joe Zaldarriaga, and MediaQuest Corporate Communications Consultant Ramon Isberto.

Through this collaboration, IABC Philippines and PRSP committed to leveraging their influence to drive programs in research, capacity-building, and knowledge-sharing — all aimed at fostering a society that can navigate information with both confidence and care.

As digital platforms continue to shape public discourse, partnerships like this signal a collective resolve: to ensure that Filipinos are not only well-informed but also equipped to discern truth from noise in the information age.
