In a heartfelt post on their official Facebook page on October 28, 2025, Jeremiah announced Polintan’s passing and paid tribute to their beloved bandmate and friend.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Piwee Polintan, beloved vocalist of the band Jeremiah. Piwee was an exceptional artist whose voice and passion touched the hearts of many. Beyond his music, he was a cherished friend, a loving soul, and a brother to us all,” the band wrote.
They also extended their gratitude to fans and supporters who offered prayers during his illness.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, support, and love during his time of illness. Please continue to keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the group added.
According to reports, Polintan suffered a stroke on October 23, and his condition had been described as serious prior to his passing.
