Jorge De Brito Joins Capital1 Solar Spikers As Head Coach - Roger Gorayeb Shifts to Consultant Role

The team just made a major coaching move by officially bringing in Jorge De Brito — yes, the same mastermind currently steering Alas Pilipinas — as their new franchise head coach. Known for his strategic smarts and calm yet commanding presence on the sidelines, De Brito’s addition is definitely a power move for the Solar Spikers as they gear up for future competitions.
But don’t worry, longtime mentor Roger Gorayeb isn’t going anywhere. While he’s stepping down from the head coaching seat, he’ll still be very much involved with the team in a new capacity as a team consultant. That means his experience, court wisdom, and guidance will still be part of Capital1’s journey — just from a slightly different angle.
With De Brito calling the shots and Gorayeb providing key insights behind the scenes, Capital1 fans have every reason to be excited. This new coaching combo could just be the spark the Solar Spikers need to shine even brighter.
