LA Tenorio Steps In As New Magnolia Head Coach, Alfrancis Chua Confirms

San Miguel sports director Alfrancis Chua has confirmed that LA Tenorio, the long-time Barangay Ginebra San Miguel court general, is taking on a new challenge as the head coach of the Magnolia Hotshots.
According to Chua, the decision to appoint Tenorio had already been in discussion for about a month. While expectations are being managed, Chua expressed confidence in Tenorio’s potential, saying, “We’re not expecting much, but for sure he will be good as a head coach.”
In a related move, Jason Webb—who previously held the head coaching role with Magnolia in 2016 and has since been a part of Chito Victolero’s coaching staff—will now serve as the team’s governor. This transition follows the retirement of long-serving team governor Rene Pardo.
With these changes, Magnolia enters a new chapter, led by a respected veteran in Tenorio and guided administratively by Webb’s experience.
